The
Cumming Ceramic Research Foundation is a non-profit Canadian federally-incorporated
charitable trust, established in 1991 to encourage and support the
expansion of knowledge about ceramics, with emphasis on the production
of British and European factories dating from the late-18th, 19th
and early 20th centuries. It awards an annual international scholarship
and research grants for work in the field.
The Foundation is committed to supporting The George R. Gardiner Museum
of Ceramic Art, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, especially its programs
for public education about ceramics, including utilization of that
part of the Cumming Collection which has been donated to the Museum.
